Blackjack With a Flip — a Second Look at Your Hand

The flip mechanic lets you reverse one of your two initial cards to its numerical opposite before acting. A flipped 8 becomes a 3; a flipped 9 becomes a 6. You decide once, then play out the hand normally.

A soft hand contains an Ace counted as 11. Because the Ace can drop to 1 if you bust, a soft hand carries less risk when you hit or flip — it gives you more room to manoeuvre without going over 21.

A hard hand has no Ace, or holds an Ace already forced to count as 1. Hard hands are more vulnerable to busting when you hit or choose a flip that raises your total above 21.

Doubling down means you double your original stake in exchange for exactly one more card. In Blackjack Flip, you typically make the flip decision first, then decide whether to double your post-flip hand.

A push occurs when your final hand total matches the dealer's total exactly. Your stake is returned to your account without a win or a loss — a neutral outcome that does not affect your balance either way.
